He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, David Anderson, Dawn Damato (Robert), Karen Levenson (Steven) and Michael Anderson (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Alyson, Danielle Schapira, Andrea, Matthew Sissick, Alexis, Gabrielle and Sean Anderson.

Every event or Reunion we planned Peter was an integral part, His ideas made everything better. His even tempered logical manner evoked great respect when he spoke. I have often thought that people such as Peter should get involved in politics but perhaps this was not his vision for his family.”
