He was predeceased by: his father Juan R. Buergo; and his brother Gabriel Buergo. He is survived by: his mother Ofelia Buergo of Warwick; his children, Michael J. Buergo (Jocelyn Iveth Pavon) and Lauren N. Buergo-Falkenburg (Tyler Falkenburg); his granddaughter Brielle Grace Falkenburg; his sister Arelis Maciel (Frank Maciel); his nieces, Ariana Maciel and Analiese Maciel; and his daughter Grace DeNicola-Buergo.
