She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaetano Imbrosciano (Thomas) and Rosaria Vernuccio (Sally); her husband Stephen H. Szwech; and her granddaughter Alyson Garino. She is survived by: her children, Diane Van Grouw (David), Stephen Szwech (Donna), Susan Sobbott and Thomas Szwech (Kim); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Scott, Kevin Garino, Lauren Mulryan, Karen Fredericks, Stephen Szwech, Jeremiah, Leah Druckenmiller and Samuel Szwech; her great grandchildren, Theo, Bennet Fredericks, Hannah and Harrison Mulryan; her brothers, Vincent (Sonny), Emmanuel (Matty) and Thomas (Tommy); her cousins, Sandra Myles (Alex) and Carol Vernuccio Weitz; and her friend Imbroscianos. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church (2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656).
Burial will be private at a later date. in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Research Children's Hospital or, Oasis- A Haven for Women and Children.
