She was predeceased by : her parents, Anna Hartsch and Theodore Hartsch; her husbands, Bill Newnham and Bill Lion; her grandson Michael; and her stepsons, Kenneth Lion (Michele) and John Newnham (Joan).

She is survived by : her daughter Maureen Menakis (Michael); her granddaughters, Stephanie and Gabriele; her stepson Robert Lion (Denise); her grandchildren, Danielle, Jillian, Christine and Kimberly; her stepdaughters, Elizabeth Reed (John) and Pamela Newnham; her sister Agi Diener; her nephew Andrew Roos (Sandra); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison, Dylan, Kristian and Winston. She is also survived by her ten siblings.
