He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas (Margaret Carney) and Paramus. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Carney (Widmer); and his children, Michael, James and Thomas Carney. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church (50 W Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652).
