In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Cohen and Rose Cohen; her husband Jack; and her son Barry Bloomfield. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrea Bloomfield (Alexander C. Palasek) and Lauren Bloomfield (Jordy Nelson); her great grandchildren, Lucas Palasek and Rosemary Nelson; and her daughters-in-law, Denise Harrington and Margaret Bloomfield.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Beth Israel Woodbridge Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Temple Emeth (https://www.emeth.org) , the Kaeli Kramer Foundation or Double Dog Dare Rescue, reflecting Shirley's dedication to community, helping animals and her immense love for her three great-grandpups.
