He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jonathan (Rebecca Brittenham) of South Bend, IN, Elizabeth (Stan Howard) of Missoula, MT and Peter (Jenna Chused) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Avery, Ethan and Jesse Howard; his children, Samuel Nashel, Benjamin and Sidney Nashel; and his brother David Nashel (Cheryl) of Chapel Hill, NC..
