He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Daniel Heydt (Svetlana) and Richard Heydt Jr. (Laura); his grandchildren, Danil Svirchtchev (Giovanna), Christopher Heydt (Samantha) and Victoria Heydt; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Rowan Heydt, Alexandra Scorik, Daniella Svirchtchev and Dima Makarov.
