With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Lucrecia Lara of Paramus, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Jaime Alfredo Lara; her children, Jaime A. Lara (Patricia), Patricia Bastian (William), Amy Lara-Lowrey (Warren), Charles Lara (June) and Martin Lara; her grandchildren, Monique Gaydos (John), Lisa Derbalian (Avo), William Bastian (Shannon), David Bastian, Ian Lowrey (Roberta), Jaime Leigh Sanderson (Bruce), Evan Lowrey (Gina), Jenna Lara (Brandon Torrado), Jacqueline Lara and Jacob Lara; and her great grandchildren, Jon Marco, Mia Isabella, Jacob, Cristian, Leila, Jordan, Kendall, Noah, Mikaila, Elijah, Ella, Delilah and Mackenzie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ 07661).
