He was predeceased by: his parents, Eladio Diaz and Dolores Abreu; and his brothers, Luis, Ramon (Mon), Antonio and Bernardo (Negrito).
He is survived by: his children, Jose, Clara, Nilza and Julisa; his children-in-law, Sandra, Rene, Deivid and Anthony; his grandchildren, Luis, Gabriela, Kahrissa, Jose Gabriel, Karen, Christian and Jazmine; and his siblings, Maria, Rosa and Freddy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
