She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Piacentino and Esperanza Cardiello; her husband Raffaele Castelli; and her brother Domenico Cardiello-Piacentino. She is survived by: her children, Maria (James Adamo), Giuseppe "Joe" (Nancy Castelli) and Antonio (Roxann Castelli); her grandchildren, James, Christina, Nicolas, Anthony, Giana and Marc; and her great grandchild Stella.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ 07661).
