She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Chavis and Sallie Bett Brown. She is survived by: her sister Ruth Kearney; her sisters-in-law, Juanita Russell and Mary Chavis Gordon; her sons, Eric Howell (Priscilla Howell), Glenn Howell and Quentin Howell; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Tonya, Ashley (Andrew Koop) and Justin; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Janna, Reid, Tzoe, Zia Rey, Azi, Alexander, Lukas and Elijah; and her husband William Bennett Howell. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren; and all of her sons and daughters.
