She was predeceased by: her parents, George Novotny and Nettie Novotny (Malinek); her son Douglas Ortland; her grandson Daniel Ortland; and her brother Richard Novotny.
She is survived by: her husband George; her daughter Cheryl Carney (Ortland); her son-in-law Michael of Paramus; her son David Ortland; her daughter-in-law Joan Ortland (Napolitano) of Saylorsburg, PA.; and her grandchildren, Douglas Carney (Candy), Jacquelyn Carney and Jessica Perez (Daniel).
