She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Morris and Mary McDermott Morris; her husband George Patrick Cashin; and her son Sean Patrick Cashin. She is survived by: her brother Hugh Morris of Galway Ireland; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Girard of Pearl River, N. Y., Richard Cashin (Sheryl) of Fair Lawn, N. J. and Carol Groenewegen (Rudy) of Montvale, N. J.. She is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

“May "Bernie" rest in peace. Warmly summoning fleeting but very fond childhood memories of her visits to Ireland. My overwhelming recollection is that of an easy, infectious smile and who would not happily settle for that as their memorial.
