It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Reji Johnston (Palmyra, New Jersey), born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram R. Johnston Sr. and Samaria Turner Johnston; his stepfather Gilbert N. Johnson; and his brother William Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Pryor of Palmyra, NJ.; his children, Reji Darrell Johnston, Kaamilya Merritt, Rejina Merritt and Kyle Johnston (Alana); his siblings, Hiram R. Johnston, Jr., Geraldine Hines (Ronald), Kevin Johnston, Carol B. Johnston-Devine (Tammy) and Therol; and his aunt Ethel Jackson (David). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
