He was predeceased by: his parent Virginia Brooks; his wife Diane Vanderveld; and his sisters, Dorothy Zink and Gloria Allen. He is survived by: his parent Clarence Brooks; his son Joseph of Cooperstown, N. Y.; and his nieces and nephews, Leo Zink, John, Joe Allen, Dorothy Heflin and Joan Kinn.
