He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret C. Owen, and Robert E. Owen, Sr.; his sisters, Annmarie Haney and Margaret Kramar; his grandson Nathan Huntsinger; and his close friend John "Jack" Devine.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Robert E. Owen, III, Elizabeth Dulaca (John), Debra Weiss (Eric) and Michelle Huntsinger (Matt); and his grandchildren, Brendan Dulaca, Eric Weiss, Jr., Hunter Weiss, Nicholas Dulaca, Jessica Weiss, Rachel Dulaca and Matthew Huntsinger, Jr..
