She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stickney and Hazel Stickney; her sister Judith Stickney; and her husband Bernard Markovitz. She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Applegate (James), Charles Markovitz (Debora) and Douglas Markovitz; her grandsons, Alexander Applegate (Leanna) and Benjamin Applegate (Monnique); and her great grandchildren, Rhiannon and Rowan Applegate.
