He is survived by: his parents, Yang Soo and Soon Ji Chong; and his nieces and nephews, Ian, Abby, Peter and Fiona.

He is also survived by his Auntie Yae Ji Kim, cousins Debbie, John and their families Due to the covid-19 Pandemic funeral services will be held privately by the family.
