“Sylford lived a long life, having died at age 87. He was a handyman but was best known as a bus driver with the state-owned Transport Board in his native country of Barbados. He had a jovial disposition and endeared himself to other with his funny, dry jokes, evoking much laughter amongst his family, friends and work colleagues. He was an excellent steel pan and domino player and was a very good team player. He will be sorely missed by us his siblings, beloved wife and children.”

“all could expect goodies which he delighted in giving out. Sylford was a humble, fun-loving, good - nature human being who sometimes was misunderstood. He especially loved his children and went out of his way to look after them or to make up for errors he made in their upbringing. He was certainly not perfect and never pretended that he was. He had his challenges with relationships but finally found peace in his last and final relationship with his dear wife Lavaun of almost twenty years.”
