He is survived by: his son John F. McElroy; his wife Susan McElroy; his daughters, Eileen Russell (C. Mario Russell), Erin McElroy-Barker (Douglas Barker) and Ciara McElroy (Mark Graham); his brothers, John F. and Michael A. McElroy; and his grandchildren, Connor, Cecilia, Gabriel, Kieran, Molly, Dylan and Julian.
