She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Sr. Hurt and Josephine Hurt; and her siblings, Joseph Jr., George, Claude, Steven, Diane Hurt-Jackson and Deborah Hurt (Debbie).
She is survived by: her husband George Devon Ellis; her son Devaughn Steven Ellis; her siblings, James Harper, Kevin Hurt, Karen, Lorraine Hurt and Yvette Hurt; and her siblings-in-law, Jamie Faulcon, Deborah, Daisy Ellis, Vernon Ellis and Jeffrey Whittle. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
