She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Jones Sr. and Tommie Jones (Carter); her husband Issac Ward Sr.; her niece Dr. Jennifer Johnson; her sister Jessie Lois Johnson; and her close friend Joyce Holland.
She is survived by: her son Isaac Ward Jr. (Kimbralynn) of North Plainfield, NJ; her brothers, William B. Jones Jr. of Flushing Queens, NY and Dr. Earl Jones (Gloria) of Dothan, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kortney Noelle Ward of North Plainfield, NJ and Isaiah Elijah Ward of North Plainfield, NJ; her nephews, Kenneth Johnson (Florida) and Carter Jones; her close friends, Thelma Murray, Marsha Wilkerson, Lois Perkins, Dianne Diemercy, Eula Penn, Beverly Trammell, Carolyn Brown and Marian Gerald; and also Gloria Stewart. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members, neighbors and friends.
Gloria contributed to a variety of charities including Children's Specialized Hospital, Shreiners Hospital for Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation New Jersey; Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and others.
