He was predeceased by: his son John Joseph Sonzogni, Jr.; and his brothers, Ronald Sonzogni and Robert Sonzogni. He is survived by: his spouse Mildred Sonzogni; his children, Michael Sonzogni (Linda), Elaine Sonzogni and Lisa Sonzogni (Giuseppe Caruso); his grandchildren, Adam Ferrigno, Trevor Ferrigno, Dylan Sonzogni, Anthony Caruso and Nicolas Caruso; and his siblings, Charles Sonzogni and Norbert Sonzogni. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
