He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius McDermott and Margaret McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Edna; his son Gregg (Kimberlee); his grandson Gavin George; his brother Neil McDermott; and his sister-in-law Susan (Richard Bergeman).
