With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Gale Gillespie (Old Tappan, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 2, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gillespie and Jane Gillespie; and his siblings, Graham, Henry, Robert Gillespie, Molly Hake and Joyce Wicks.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gillespie; his children, David Gillespie (Meredith), Peggy Gillespie, Alan Gillespie (Jill), Donna Rivera (Miguel), Ronald V. Gillespie and Jennifer Yezik; and his grandchildren, Justin, Regan, Lindsay, Michael, Ashley, Collin, Ariana, Alexandria and Ian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronald's name to Macular Degeneration Research or Trinity Reformed Church.
