He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel and Geraldine; and his sister Cathy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Saffert; his father-in-law Ralph Shafer (late Dorothy); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Ettinger (Hal), Robin Shafer and Charles Shafer (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
