It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter R. Pero of Old Bridge, New Jersey, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosmo Pero and Frances Ciancio; and his nephew Michael Chaiken. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley, Amanda and Danielle; his wife Vicki Zagari; his children, Zak and Mike; his brother Carmine; his brothers-in-law, Eric and Paul; his sister Virginia; his sister-in-law Fran; his nieces and nephews, Zac, Brittany, Jen, Dylan, Trevor, Dawn, Michelle, Kenny, Carmine Jr., Jessica, Andrew, Merrissa, Christina and John; his granddaughter Charlie Rose; and his pet Jaxxon.

“I met PETER in 1999 when I moved from Brooklyn NY to Old Bridge NJ I moved with my son Daniel who had physical issues. and I needed to remove him from his 30 year program and his life long friends do to abuse within the agency. This was a very difficult decision. I moved in with my daughter it was heartbreaking to see my son so unhappy. Not long after I had the HONER of meeting Pete through a wonderful woman named IRIS. Daniel then joined CAMP ROBIN, it was a blessing LIFE CHANGER . RIP PETE”
