We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2021, at the age of 64, Kevin Nelson of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nelson and Christine Nelson; his brother David Nelson (Lisa); and his stepmother Ellie McDermott. He is survived by: his siblings, Scott Nelson (Denise), Margaret Nelson, Bridget Hlava (Brian) and Jessica Metzger (John); and his nieces and nephews, Robert Nelson (Michelle), David Nelson (Gina), Lance Lemli, Shane, Quinn Hlava and Leah Inzana-Metzger. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Later in life, and prior to Covid, as his mental and physical condition declined, he attended, NJID New Jersey Institute for Disabilities which was an adult day care program.

“Scott Denise and family. I have these words that fill my head as I think of Kevin, many of time I hear come from his lips. The road is long. There may be somewinding turns , that lead us to who knows where, who knows where. But I’m strong enough to carry him!!! . He ain’t heavy he’s my brother. So on we go.
