He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lormil Jean and Mezimene Cherie; his wife Christila; and his children, Rudy, Emilus, Marcel, Natacha, Charlemise, Frantz, Charneil, Yves, Josue, Stephanie, Michelet, Maslene and Mario. He was also cherished by his 16 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Joseph's honor, to any local youth soccer team, especially the Old Bridge Soccer League.
