He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Joseph Melito of Morganville, NJ. and Joe; his parents, Carmella Guanimo and Vincenzo Melito; his wife Rose; his children, Rose Marie Melito, Debbie Myer (Bruce) of Walton, NY, Karen Hatcher (Mark) of Peterborough, NH and James Melito of Keyport, NJ; and his grandchildren, Renee Van Alstyne, Matthew Myer, Jeffrey Newbury, Jessica Newbury, Daniel LeMunyan, Lauren LeMunyan, Alissa Corallo and David Melito. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
