He was predeceased by: his daughter Judith Benedict. He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Gilseider; his children, Penni Kenny (Joseph) and Edward Gilsleider Jr. (Lisa); his son-in-law Stephen Benedict; his siblings, Gene Gilsleider and Joan Vaccarella; and his grandchildren, Erin Choate (Tyrone), Alicia Chirino (Michael), Sean Kenny, Cambria Campbell (Scott), Jordan Gisleider (Danielle), Nathan Gisleider (Laura), Luke Gilsleider, Jessica Batista (Joel) and Deanna Benedict. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
