We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 75, Dorothy Jicka of Old Bridge, New Jersey, born in Elmont, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dorothy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorothy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Wojciula and Carline Wojciula. She is survived by: her husband George Jicka; her daughters, Laura and Jennifer (Peter McAvoy); her granddaughter Olivia Laks; her sister Carline Napolitano (Gary); and her niece Katie Napolitano.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals (3377 US-9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas (1 St Thomas Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857).
