With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Demetrios Zamanis of Old Bridge, New Jersey, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasilios Zamanis and Polixeni; his wife Demetra; his children, Demetrios and Irene; and his siblings, Theofanis and Eleni.

He is survived by: his pet Cleopatra; his wife's children, James, Jon Priovolos and Dina Colonias (Priovolos); his grandchildren, Jessica Commarato (Sean), Michael Zamanis, Julia Castillo (Ruben), Diana Priovolos and Melina Colonias; his friend Alyson Kelly; and also Cleopatra. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you donate to an animal or veterans' charity of choice.
