He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis A. Murphy and Theresa Ann Murphy (Metro). He is survived by: his wife Maryann Murphy; his daughter Danielle Murphy (Stephanie Gonzales); his brother Timothy Murphy (Lynn Murphy); his nieces and nephews, Shannon, Patrick, Jay Hunter (Melissa Henke), Jamie Hunter Colella, Nick Colella, Steven, Dillon Bender, Sherri Ann, Eddie Lutz, Tommy, Anabella Bergen, Jennifer, Brian Zengel, Jimmy Updike, James, Denise Updike, Darlene, Thomas Bergen, Brenda Updike and Steve Bender; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Jayson, Autumn, Willow, Dominic, Nicky, Layla, Hannah, Sarah, Aiden, Jack, Alexandria, Charli Iris, Bob, Irene Gradziel, John and Fran Gradziel; his friend Anthony Mudd Man Dabrowski; and also, Larry Murphy (Marylin Dunn Murphy), Jennifer and Joe Gradziel.

“Maryann and Danielle, So sorry to hear about the passing of one of my childhood and adulthood friends. So many memories flow back into mind about times past at the lake in Vermont. Much time spent enjoying fishing (including ice fishing), hunting, having intelligent conversations about current events and antiques, laughing, enjoying adult beverages, the Horseshoe, and parties at the lake.
