We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 91, Barbara J Larsen of Old Bridge, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thibaut and Pearl Thibaut; her siblings, Marlene, Patricia and John; her daughters, Karen Oliver and Sharon Martinelli; her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kaitlin Pitti; and her sons-in-law, Brian Hopper and Joe Martinelli.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Larsen, Sr.; her children, Larry (Mary Ellen Larsen), Marlene (Bill Engh), Nancy (John Pitti), Penny (Ron Heaney), James (Michelle Larsen), Robin Miller of Levittown, PA, Tricia (Curtis Marcellin) and Robert (Kate Larsen); and her son-in-law Wayne Oliver of Monroe Township. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home (15 Cherry Ln, Parlin, NJ 08859). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Barbara's name to Reformed Church Home, 1990 Rt 18 N, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
