John Hornyak Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hornyak of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, born in Witherbee, New York, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hornyak and Mary Hornyak; his stepfather James Timko; his wife Alice Hornyak (Helms); his siblings, Andrew (Helen Dudash), Joseph (Mary Auche), Steve (Lillian Auche), Paul, Margaret (Irving Lozier), Julia (Earl Poyer), Olga (Steve Dekmar) and Elizabeth; his grandsons, Brent Borum and Tommy Laner; and his great grandchild Billy Storms.
He is survived by: his children, Earl (Tracy), Johnny Hornyak II, Gail (Donald Pollard), Carol (Tom Laner) and Diane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
