It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Mercogliano (Oceanport, New Jersey), born in Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on January 5, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Massaro and Salvatore Massaro; her husband Nicholas (Nick); her siblings, Angelo (Kay, Joseph, Sam), Louie (Mae) and Connie (Tom); and her brothers-in-law, John, Alfonso, Fran, Victor (Jonatha) and Frank Bressi.
She is survived by: her child Louise Petillo; her sons-in-law, Mike, Joseph and Isaal; her grandchildren, Nicole Fornarotto Seymour (Richard), Michele Petillo White (Christopher), Joseph Fornarotto (Jessica), Jennifer Petillo Rapuano (Robert), Rachael Gerstein (Adam Moss) and Sarah Gerstein; her great grandchildren, Siena Seymour, Mikey White, Nicholas Seymour, Nico White, Victoria Rapuano and Madison Fornarotto; her brother Salvatore Massaro (Marie, Ocean); her siblings-in-law, Margaret Massaro of North Carolina, Marlene Bressi of Long Branch, Bruce Mercogliano (Maureen) and Andrew Mercogliano; and her significant other Betsy Viary of Netherwood, NJ. She is also survived by her best friend, and other "sister," Ahuva Gerstein and her husband, Baruch, Ocean; and so many nieces, nephews and friends.
