She was predeceased by: her brothers, Albert and Milton Robichaux; and her husband Leif Rein Sigmond Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Leif R. Sigmond Jr. (Laura) and Maria Sigmond of Oceanport; her son-in-law Dennis Warner of Oceanport; her grandchildren, Francesca Marie Sigmond, Leif R. Sigmond III, Margaret Joan Sigmond-Warner and Aaron Dennis Sigmond-Warner; and her siblings, Margaret Elliot of Sylvania and David Robichaux of Mexico City, Mexico..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Joan's memory be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
