He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L Worsthorn and Julia Worsthorn (O'Connell); his sister Elise Roskelly; and his siblings-in-law, Frosty Misner and Caroline Worsthorn.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Worsthorn (Grancio); his daughters, Haley Glaser (Brandon), Lindsay McCarthy (Michael) and Stephany Claybrook (Adam); his siblings, Robert Worsthorn (Mary Ann), Louis Worsthorn, Susan Misner and Christine Worshorn; and his grandchildren, Isla, Livi, Milo, Liam Glaser, Eli Claybrook and Molly McCarthy.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael's RC Church (800 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ 07740).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.

“I am a first cousin of Steve. Due to cancer treatments, I am unable to attend the funeral services. As a cousin I was always proud of Uncle Bob and his WWII record. I am also proud of my cousin and his siblings being veterans. Mostly I was proud of Steves sense of humor and innocent personality. He was generally a nice guy and lived his life accordingly.
