Stanley Shapiro Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2022, at the age of 87, Stanley Shapiro of Ocean, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stanley Shapiro to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Shapiro; his sisters, Ruth Wolf and Jean Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Sherman and Meryl Sherman.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Shapiro; his children, Dr. Jonathan Shapiro (Toby) of Irvine, CA and Beth Settje (Brandon) of Somers, CT; his grandchildren, Ethan Settje and Maggie Settje; and his sister-in-law Judy Sherman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donations in Stan's memory may be made to either the National Museum of American Jewish Military History or Congregation Torat-El, the Rabbi's Fund.
