Prior Sr. and Virginia Prior (Ahern); his wife Madeline Snarski-Prior; his siblings, Edwin "Bud" Prior, Robert Prior, Lucille Donnelly, Virginia Prior and Mary Negri; his stepchildren, Mary Ann Kurtz and Steven Snarski; his former wife Ethel Prior (Laing); and the mother of his children Ethel Prior (Laing).
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Prior, John T. Prior III (Janet), Martin Prior (Suzanne) and Sandra Prior (Charles Taylor); his stepson Anthony Snarski Jr. (Olga); his grandchildren, Carrie Prior, Daniel Prior (Nicole Vander Laan), Sean Prior, Benjamin Prior (Rachel), David Thomas Jr. and Evelyn Prior; his great grandchildren, Berend and Lochlann Prior; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Snarski (Solanly), Michael Snarski (Jessica), Christopher Snarski (Kimberly), Krystle Rodriguez (Jose) and Christina Snarski-Knisley; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lauren, Arianna, Madeline, Gavin, Lucas, Gianna, Riley and Kayla; and also Yeni. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
