He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Joelle, Jordan, Cameron, John Henry and Isabelle; his sisters, Dawn Hayes and Sheronda Sessoms; and his father John Hayes III (Freda Hayes). He is also survived by his cousins, his nieces and nephews, and their children.
