She was predeceased by: her father John Albert Purnell; and her sister Eileen D. Stevens. She is survived by: her mother Eileen C. Stevens; her children, Diamond Stevens, Ty-Lisa Kelly, Mi'Chiah Stevens-Seward and Tywan Thomas; her siblings, April Stevens, John "Way-Way" Stevens, Shauntay White, Jason Purnell, Whitney Purnell, Michael Wilburn, Jordan Purnell, Mia Stephens and Braxton Thomas; and her grandchildren, Ty'Mhere Thomas, Taleah Thomas, Onyx Jean-Baptise and Na'Miyla Johnson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Day Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
