He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Vorst and Joyce Van Vorst. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen; his children, Jennifer Grignoli (J. P.) of Massapequa, N. Y. and David Garret Van Vorst (Allison) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, John, Juliana Grignoli, Henry and James Van Vorst; and his cousin Gordon Lorenzo.
