He was loved and cherished by many people including: his granddaughter Merrick; his parents, Charles Merrick and Elsie Jane Green; his sisters, Jane and Helen; and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Reamer of Pitman, NJ.
In 1951, he married his bride of 65 years Elizabeth "Betty" Reamer of Pitman, NJ who he lost in 2016 after providing for her every need for five years while she suffered from Alzheimer's.
