It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Plasteras of Ocean Grove, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on September 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Basil Plasteras; her parents, Walter Scharber and Dolores Somereve Scharber; and her brother Walter Scharber III. She is survived by: her children, James Plasteras, George Plasteras (Kathleen), Vanessa Torres (Vince) and Caroline Habeck (Michael); her grandchildren, Cade, Cole, Mason, Milania, Harper, Henry, Hazel, James and Jake; her siblings, Robert Scharber (Rene) and Marybeth Thompson (Chris); and her close friend Gorton Wood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
