He is survived by: his father Rudy Garrett; his children, Al'Nisa Yvette Jordan-Garrett, Carol Lynn Garrett, Jamal Mark Graves, Kayla Marlene Garrett, Rudy Mark Bishop and Anthony Rudy Garrett; his grandchildren, Al'Nirah Dushaun-Marie Thomas, Zara Renee-Marie Jackson and Amir Anthony Jackson; his siblings, Melissa A. Garrett-Nelson and Rionna Garrett-Marable; and his close friend Liz Genz.
