She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry K. Shalter and Anna M. Shalter (Gerhart); her husband John H. Henninger Jr.; her son John Hunter Henninger, III; and her siblings, William H. Shalter and Mary Ann Shalter.

She is survived by: her daughter Joanne S. Nye (Henninger); her grandchildren, Robert Reilly Nye, Gregory John Nye and Marguerite "Margo" Musgnug (Henninger); and her sisters, Emma Catherine Lantz (Shalter) and Patricia Harding (Shalter). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
