He was predeceased by: his parents, James Palermo and Mary Palermo; and his wife Jackie Palermo (Pasquale). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Palermo (Olga) and Stephen Palermo (Rose); his grandchildren, Stephen C. Palermo (Kate), Laura Bedortha (Jeremy), Jillian Sayers (Frank), Marcus Palermo, Joelle Palermo, Sara Price (Austin), Nicole Palermo and Anthony Palermo; his great grandchildren, Mikaela, Tyler, Keegan, Zoe, Kash, Jolie, Stevie, Lorelei and Theodore; and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Palermo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo (644 South Shore Rd., Palermo, NJ 08223). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
